Nina Moore

Nina Moore holds a doctorate in Education with an emphasis on School Organization and Educational Policy. Her dissertation research focused on how underperforming schools make meaning of educational improvement initiatives and what factors are most effective in helping schools improve teaching and learning. Nina has 30 years of experience in K-12, university, state, and federal education program management, partnership development and support, policy research and analysis, and grants administration. She has worked with schools and districts in urban and rural communities throughout California, supporting and nurturing partnerships designed to enhance teaching and learning as well as increase college and career opportunities for students traditionally underrepresented in post-secondary education. As Senior Director of P20 Partnerships, Teaching and Leadership in Education Partnerships at the University of California Office of the President, Dr. Moore oversees program and policy initiatives related to school-university partnerships, educator preparation, and teacher professional development.
